Grandparents Visitation

Blowing Out Candles

Florida allows the grandparents of minor children to petition for visitation with the minor children under very limited circumstances.  Some of those circumstances include: when one parent is deceased, missing, in a persistent vegetative state, or whose parent has been convicted of a felony or an offense of violence evincing behavior that poses a substantial threat of harm to the minor children.  If you are a grandparent who seeks to establish a visitation schedule with your grandchildren, you should contact an experienced attorney to evaluate whether your situation may qualify.
